The Altora’s rooms are bright and welcoming, and some include a balcony. A lift takes you comfortably to all floors, and some rooms are suitable for the mobility impaired. In addition to the listed facilities, all rooms include a cosmetic mirror and a safe which can accommodate a laptop. The majority of the rooms include extra-long beds (2.10 metres). - Hotel Rooms

A generous breakfast buffet is served from 07:00 to 10:30 each morning. The hotel’s bar and rustic restaurant, 1835, are open every day from 11:30 to 22:00. Hot food is served from 17:30 to 21:00 from Mondays to Saturdays. From here, diners can enjoy direct views of the many nostalgic steam trains outside. Smokers can relax in the hotel’s cigar and whiskey lounge. In addition, the Hotel Altora offers a cosy room with a fireplace and a wine bar. Here, you can unwind with a glass of fine wine as you enjoy watching music videos or topical films. .

Upon request, the hotel staff can pick you up at the railway station. If you are travelling by car, you can use the hotel’s free parking facilities.
